Yesterday (21.07.2010) lunch buffet was held for the Board of Directors of PNMB. The luncheon was supposed to start at 1.00 pm but they only started eating at 3.30 pm. 1 basic principle, customer's always right. I'm not complaining on anything tapi since its on cod basis, we don't mind waiting. haha.. Yang paling penting, they are satisfied with the foods. Alhamdulillah!
The menu are:
- Nasi Tomato
- Ayam Masak Merah
- Kurma Daging with Kentang
- Dalca Sayur
- Jelantah
- Papadom
- Mixed Fruits
- Custard Pudding
- Choc Moist Cake
- Teh Tarik
- Air Sirap
Thanks Kak Aishah!!!
Nanti boleh calling2 lagi ok. ;)
& now all of sudden i feel like talking about my previous experience with my customers (this is not only a business blog, but it is my personal blog as well ;)). Most of my customers are well mannered, easy to deal with, xbanyak songeh & the most important thing --> the payment is on time. Bukan nak memuji tapi this is the fact.
Tapi there a few customers yang so difficult to handle & dah xtau nak deal macam mane. For example, they wants the foods early (as early as 9.00 am in the Morning), menu they've requested is not simple to cook, their event only started at 12.30 noon, while i'm driving to their place, they keep on calling me (10 min sekali selagi i xsampai) & say "jangan lambat ok. i wanna make sure that u r not late" (walhal all this while i never deliver the foods late. maybe once masa mula2 dulu since i'm new to the business. But itulah sekali & satu2nye i terlambat hantar kat diorg) & paling hebat sekali = we have to wait like ages for the payment to be settled. haha.. Like i said earlier, i'm not complaining on any anything tapi just wanna share with people out there (whether you are my customers, future customers, friends or relatives) about my experience and to urge all of you to always bertimbang rasa with other people.
It's not difficult though to have perasaan belas kasihan & bertimbang rasa with other people. Xkisahla org tu cleaner atau office boy atau service provider atau in my case food provider. People always think that when you are the caterer (or work as an officer or below), you only pass your PMR or SPM and you've never entered or worked in a company or big organisation. It's so cliche you know how people always letak min standard on other people. Xsalah respect orang xkisah apepun pekerjaan orang tu. Based on my previous experience again, whenever i deliver or serve the F&B, orang sekeliling confirm akan pandang with one look, to be exact with sarcastic look. Why & why? Hina ke my job as a caterer? In fact, rasanya i lagi dapat pahala sebab masak dengan ikhlas & always give them a good price. Malay Catering Services at a Price You Won't Find Anywhere Else!!! (haha..promote.. ;)
Kalau memang education & pekerjaan yang orang pandang, fyi, all of us are graduates. My Along (Asyikin. She's handling in Johor Area) is UKM graduate & working as an English Teacher & part time Lecturer. My Angah (Linda, sometimes she's helping me in KL & Selangor Area) is UUM graduate & working as an Exec. ME, i was graduated from UiTM, Shah Alam in Accountancy and i was a Bank Negara Scholar & was working with Bank Negara Malaysia right away after i graduated. Tapi since cooking is our passion, so we've decided to choose this line. ;) In fact, i earn more than what i earned before. huhu..
p/s: Back to the title of this post, Members of the Board bertambah2 nasi & lauk sampai 2-3 kali. So i guess samada diorg lapar or makanan tu memang betul sedap.. hee.. :)
